My wife and I bought an iCandy cherry stroller over the weekend.

It was between this, an i’coo Targo, and a Bugaboo Bee. All roughly the same price when you include a bassinet attachment. In the end, we chose the iCandy because it’s incredibly light (16 lbs), relatively tall, and pretty versatile. It’s not quite as flexible as the i’coo—which has height adjustment for the seat/bassinet, can be folded with the seat attached, and a few other adjustable things—but we were happy to give that up to save six pounds. In reality, most of the strollers that fold up with the seat attached (like the i’coo and Bugaboo) are incredibly unwieldy when folded; this one locks in position and stands up on its own in a very narrow space.

The mechanisms for attaching/detaching the seat and for folding the stroller are incredibly simple to use, which was also a big plus.

I’ll also throw out the random observation that baby gear stores in Brooklyn need better SEO. I went all over Manhattan (including the incredibly claustrophobic Albee Baby on the UWS) to repeatedly find stores out of stock in what I was looking for—only to discover that there are two great stores in Carroll Gardens (Ola Baby and Pizzazz Kids) and another in Williamsburg (Mini Jake). Mini Jake I found, but the two in CG never came up on Google. We bought the iCandy at Pizzazz.
